Now Trending: Food
I love having options when I attend an event. It shows that the hosts tried to accommodate as many of its guests as possible. Of course, you can’t please everybody, but if you can satisfy the majority, you’ve done your job.
Specialty Stations – One big trend that’s being handed down from 2016 is the specialty food station. Can you imagine a wedding that offered peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, mini hot dogs, a pretzel station, or an omelet station? It’s not only a brilliant idea, but it’s also budget-friendly. Food stations serve two purposes:
Donut wall – this is not a joke! It’s literally a wall of donuts hanging from little hooks. Grab and go!
Breakfast for dinner – huge money saver to do this! Who doesn’t love pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, omelets, home fries? OMG, I can go on and on. The point is couples are trying to break the “traditional” wedding mold. They want different, fresh, and fun. There is no better way of showing this than through your food option.
Late night snack options – After the heavy food has been cleared, what’s left to eat for the rest of the event? Que the snacks! Mini burgers, French fries, shakes, chips, dip, you name it! Whatever your go-to late-night snack is, put it on display for your guests to enjoy. It’s the official food of the after-party!
Hopefully, you’ll incorporate some of these fun ideas but don’t stop there, display the foods that speak to you as a couple.
As always, never miss an opportunity to celebrate!
